The Unknown God [Acts 17]

22So Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I observe that you are very religious in all respects. 23"For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription, 'TO AN UNKNOWN GOD ' Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you.

Paul, because he was a Jew who knew the Old Testament and was a believer having been tutored by Jesus, was in a particularly good position to introduce the "Unknown God" to the people at Athens in his sermon at Mars Hill. Paul knew the true God and his passion was to tell anyone and everyone who would listen about this amazing God of the Bible. Here is a list of the truths Paul spoke that day. As you read the list one by one, pray and think about what it means to you that this is your God and then praise Him for that truth.

The Unknown God
Made the world and all things in it
Lord of heaven and earth
Does not dwell in temples made with hands
Not served by human hands as though He needed anything
He gives to all people life and breath and all things
He made from one man every nation to live on the earth
Determined mankind's appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation
Causes them to seek Him so perhaps they might find Him
He is not far from each one of us
In Him we live, move and exist
We are His children
Divine nature is not like gold or silver or stone - not an image formed by the art and thought of man
Overlooks our ignorance
He declares that all men and people everywhere should repent
He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through Jesus whom He has appointed
He furnished proof by raising Jesus from the dead

We praise you that You have made Yourself known to us through the Scriptures. Cause us to grow in intimacy with You by Your grace.

Educational apps are designed with one goal in mind: to make learning fun, exciting and approachable – something we can all get behind. And that means https://phongleusa.com/collections/cd-g-players creating apps that support how you teach and where you teach your kids – whether it’s at home or in school.

The first thing to understand is what we mean by “education”: any field where learning must be accomplished through repeated interaction with https://shopmegadj.com/collections/scratch-vinyl information. This includes everything from music, painting, cooking and math to business, science and sports.
