Do Not Be Afraid [Acts 27]

23"For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me, 24saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.' 25"Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told.

God is Sovereign. Nothing happens that He does not know about or that He can't control. He is the firm foundation of our faith so that we do not have to continue to walk in fear. Although, fear is a normal reaction to so many things in our lives, fear does not have to reign. Whether our way is smooth or rough as the seas in a storm, God is there overseeing it all and extending His grace and peace as we look to Him.

We praise You God that You alone are Sovereign and provide a solid rock upon which we can stand in every circumstance. Cause us to look to you in everything and find Your grace and peace.
