In His Kingdom Things Are Different [Matthew 20]

28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

In His kingdom, all people are the same before Him without preference according to salvation date or the amount of work done for Him. This world in which we live is all about preference. If you have seniority or money or great talents, you get ahead of the rest. His Kingdom is different. In this world, we are driven to accumulate wealth for ourselves. In His Kingdom, generosity is the norm. His Kingdom is different. In this world, kings and presidents are exalted and are protected. They have people who will die to keep them alive. Jesus, God’s chosen King was sent as the King who would die to keep us alive. His Kingdom is different. In this world, servants are at the bottom of the social system, but in His kingdom if you want to be great, you will be a great servant. His Kingdom is different. And He is a different kind of King, one who came to serve His enemies and give His life so that some could be part of His Kingdom, a Kingdom like no other.

May you be great in His Kingdom by His awesome grace.
