Though I walk in the midst of trouble...(Psalm 138:3,7-8)
3 When I called, you answered me;
you greatly emboldened me.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life.
You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes;
with your right hand you save me.
8 The LORD will vindicate me;
your love, LORD, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands.
Dear Warriors,
I hope that you can understand these words with a trusting heart. As I think of the ways God has stretched out His hand and saved me and my warrior sons, I am particularly touched by these words. He has not abandon the work of His hands and heard the prayers of a mother's heart.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the sound of my son's voice having landed on US soil last week. And to complete the gift from our heavenly Father, (Numbers 31:49) " and said to him, “Your servants have counted the soldiers under our command, and not one is missing."
My son and all of his Marines returned safely because of the works of His hands.
Lord, we are so comforted by your words and the way you listen to us and work in our lives. We praise you that we can trust in You and your word as we turn to you wholeheartedly. You do preserve our lives.
Love,
Mom
