Christmas 2018

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior and look forward to His second coming, it is also a time to remember God's faithfulness to us.  I spent some time making a list of the things God has done in this ministry over the past few months. I thought I should share it with you so you can join me in praising and thanking God for:

  • The EGP board who led and guided through the project Behold (an updated Scripture and prayer journal)
  • Those who were willing to try the new journaling style and give valuable feedback
  • Putting in my path a graphic designer to work with who had already produced a similar product
  • People who were excited and gave generously to fund the project
  • Time to write the extra introductions to each tabbed section
  • A team to help with the copious editing
  • Another team to help pick colors and styles for the cover and tab pages
  • Inspiration from the timely CCEF conference on Living Scripture
  • The proof ready to be picked up on our way home from Thanksgiving travels
  • Photographer to give us beautiful images
  • Catching last minute mistakes
  • Providing free shipping on a bread truck
  • An updated website (be sure to check it out)
  • Insight for marketing from two key individuals
  • 82 preorders that allowed us to purchase 200 journals
  • Shipping in time for Christmas and the new year

This has been a continuing journey of faith for me.  As I looked at each step, uncertain how to proceed, God gave guidance and direction at just the right time.  May many be encouraged daily to dwell in Scripture, remember the gospel, receive God’s grace, ask and thank Him and grow in faith (the five new sections) as they use this tool.

You still have time to order yours or purchase as a gift for someone in the EGP shop
If you are in or around Norfolk, VA you can respond to this email and order without shipping.

I look forward to what God will do in our hearts as we seek Him in 2019!

In God’s grace and for His glory,
Verna
